New things for New Year

2009 had just left a month ago not knowing the days had passed and yet we are still here celebrating 2010. Now we are moving forward from our disappointment and weaknesses in the passed year. To start up 2010 here in blogosphere I will show you some cute hongbao envelope which Chinese use during their new year.

Looking at there eyes and cheek you could smile as well.

I've learned from Chinese tradition that during the new year you should get new things to replace your old stuff. Somehow I try to follow this and viola I bought this..

to replace my old laptop at home.  It was planned but not this soon, however, I pass by in one store and do some window shopping. When I first saw it I find it nice but then I expect the price is not that friendly.  But as I saw the price on the screen, I was surprised.  They offer BIG discount which is enough for my extra budget.  Though I'm not familiar yet with the OS X, I still purchased it and I'm happy to have it.

Aside from that, I got a new leather bag that I'd always wanted to have. It is quite expensive for me but it doesn't matter because I really like this one.  Just this once?!!!!!

Not to mention my 3 pairs of new shoes all from Martina Pink, I am an addict to this brand nowadays after I discovered them at Tangs Orchard.  I can't stop admiring them because of their modern vintage design, color and most of all quality.  The price is not that expensive and I still manage to get the discounted one. 

My first baby was born

I finally made my first reworked necklace after a month of thinking how to save my old accessories or in modern term we called as "vintage" which some are not worn anymore for a few years.

Please welcome my first baby named "chained hearts".




These came from my vintage bracelets made from silver I bought 5 years ago and the 2 gemstone heart pendant I bought here in Singapore 2 years ago. The fuchsia heart pendant was given to me 3 years ago as a gift.
Each material has its own special value to me so I can't sell it this time. Anyway I've started making accessories for my online store and as of now I finished 1 necklace and 4 earrings. Hope I can make more in just a short period.

I'm Back

Hi! I've been busy recently in looking for our new flat after a year we decided to move out and find a better, cheaper and if not big at least wider than our old flat. Finally we found it and we are starting to move on after a traumatic experience with our owner and agent from the old flat. I will not elaborate the story behind it to keep my happy mood alive.

I share you my plans for these coming days..guess what.. i will be starting my online store for accessories specially made with passion by me..Please pray for my success..I don't know what's gonna happen but as I've said to myself " Shy you have to be persistent" and yes I have to start it asap. One thing also my BFF Louie motivates me to plan it ahead and she was encouraging me to use my passion as part of my career besides of my professional job.
